Tasting Tour & Wine Shop
The Castello di Montegiove is privately owned and therefore not open to the public. A private tour will give you the unique opportunity of stepping inside the old castle walls, and will take you on a discovery of the 16th-century cellars. You will learn more about the fascinating history of the castle which sees counts, mercenaries and saints in its turbulent past. You will also visit the chapel dedicated to The Blessed Angelina, founder of a congregation of Religious Sisters of the Franciscan Third Order Regular.
The visit concludes with a tasting of the estate’s wines. We can also organize a light buffet or a seated tasting and we offer gluten-free alternatives to our celiac guests. The tours commence at our wine shop in the hamlet of Montegiove.
