Castello di Montegiove Mi.Mo.So. Umbria Rosso IGT

Mi.Mo.So. Orvitano Rosso D.O.C.

The Mi.Mo.So. wine is named after the Marquises Misciattelli Mocenigo Soranzo, who since 1780 have dedicated passion in wine growing, carefully cherishing the values that tie together tradition and land. Produced from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Montepulciano grapes, this wine is aged for 12 months in Slavonian and Allier medium toasted oak casks, refines in bottles for 6 months and is Mis en Bouteille au Château. A complex and fragrant wine, with an understated aroma of berries, Mi.Mo.So. has a deep ruby red colour, round and clean taste, with a scent of cassis and dark fruits, with a notable minerality. This wine is suited for ageing and is excellent to accompany rich pasta dishes, game, roasted meat, or on its own as a meditation wine.
