Gatto Gatto - Orvietano Rosso D.O.C.
of this wine is inspired by the medieval battlecry of the
Gattamelata and of his garrison, who took possession of the
Montegiove during the late XV century. Gatto Gatto is
produced from a
blend of the traditional Umbrian varieties Sangiovese and
Canaiolo with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon
and is Mis en Bouteille
It is a realtively young wine maintaining a
fresh and fruity character after a light aging on large oak
older barriques and tonneaux. Brilliant ruby red colour with
and it appears vividly fragrant yet also suave and
compliments most culinary occasions and does not require
matching. To be served with hors d’oeuvres, cheese, cured
dishes, poultry and fowl.
