Elicius - Umbria Rosso I.G.T.
the best grapes contribute to the creation of this wine whose name
evokes the grandeur of the almighty Jupiter Elicius, an epithet that
means God of lighting. Obtained from a blend of Montepulciano and
Sagrantino grape varieties, this smooth, elegant and mellow wine, ages
for 18 months in medium toasted French barrels and slavonian oak casks
and refines in bottles for 12 months. Elicius is Mis en Bouteille au
Château. The resulting intense dark garnet red wine, suggests
enjoyable toasted aromas and intense fruited plum and cherry flavours.
